Hi, I'm Caoilfhinn!
I’ve always loved maths — even in primary school, I was doing work two or three class levels ahead. I went on to earn 625 points in the Leaving Cert, including a H1 in Higher Level Maths, and later achieved a First Class Honours degree in Mathematical Science at the University of Galway, where I also received multiple academic scholarships for excellence.
Now, I teach students exactly how to understand maths with confidence, using the methods and strategies that helped me succeed.
My Story
Maths has always been something I genuinely enjoyed. From a young age, teachers gave me work from books far ahead of my class because I loved the challenge and wanted to learn more. That early passion stayed with me all through school, where I achieved 625 points in my Leaving Cert, including a H1 in Higher Level Maths, before completing a First Class Honours degree in Mathematical Science at the University of Galway. Throughout my degree, I was awarded multiple academic scholarships in recognition of consistent high performance.

But I didn’t spend every day studying — far from it. I maintained a full social life, trained almost every day, competed in sport at a national level, and captained my club. I understand busy schedules because I lived one myself. That’s why my teaching focuses on smart, efficient learning, not endless hours at a desk.

My goal is to show students exactly how to learn maths clearly, confidently, and realistically. I teach the methods, habits, and exam strategies that worked for me, so you can build understanding, improve exam technique, and reach the results you want — all while still living life to the fullest.
